Mission Statement
The David and Goliath Project celebrates protest culture in all of its forms, from video reports and documentaries to writing, art and music. We hope that this as-of-now humble website turns into a vibrant community where radical journalists, filmmakers, politically-relevant artists and activists post their work for the world to see.
The Project considers the voices of filmmakers, youth, journalists and activists to be of the utmost importance, as the disenfranchised, the working class and the environment become secondary to the goals of an increasingly corporatized, securitized America. And as Tunisia, Egypt, Wisconsin and the rest of world is starting to prove, radical voices are absolutely necessary to push back against government corruption and corporate encroachment of the American ideal: Life, Liberty and the Pursuit of Happiness.
